A friend lent my son a Boogie until he gets his own.

The serail number is 10972 and it looks like a MKIIB from what I can work out.

My friend has no idea what model it is so he can't tell me.

It doesn't have any reverb tank, and the word "reverb" has been blacked out on the rear of the chassis.

My son just purchased a .50calibre to play so we'll be rturning the early model.

Any help appreciated.

Please note I'm not a muso and know little or nothing about amps.
 
That's not enough info for us to tell. Post some pics. But the main difference between a IIA and a IIB is that the IIB has an effects loop, the A does not.
