Hi,
how much does international shipping cost? How much are international shipping taxes for a mark IV (without case)?

It depends where you're shipping it to.

Whenever I sell internationally there are a few rules I follow.

1. Buyer covers all taxes, tarrifs, customs fees, etc.
2. Pack your item to survive nuclear war.
3. Go to USPS.com and check out restrictions for size/items for the country you're going to.

As far as carriers...

To Japan, China, Korea, Australia, Asian/Pacific countries Express Mail Service is the best. You go to the post office to use it. UPS wishes they were as good.

Everywhere else I use USPS priority international service.

I'm an Italian guy and i want to buy a mark IV in the USA (because they're cheaper than in italy :D) and i would know tariffs, taxes, etc. to see if it's better for me to buy a USA Mark or an Italian one 8)

Well, I recently sent a guitar in hard case to Italy, about 25 pounds total weight, and that cost just over $100USD. I'm not certain about customs and taxes but the value for that guitar was about $800.

I did read on the USPS website that you really aren't supposed to ship musical instruments to Italy...but even though I declared what I was sending no one said anything and it arrived fine.

I think it will depend on the cost difference of the amp between the US and Italy, if it's just a couple hundred I'd buy local.
