Identify my MarkIII

i bought a Used '90 MarkIII some months ago and i am loving it.
i just want to know what is the difference between a "blue stripe" and a "red stripe" and what type mine is... and if anyone could give me additional information on it that would be great

crappy settings there....i know.

it has 5 sovtek and 2 EHX 6l6's

The stripe is on the back of the amp in magic marker near the AC power cord. Check it out and then go to a site called the Boogie Files and it will explain the stripe. Basically it was the Mk III circuit evolving and the stripe designated the progression. I hope this helps!

Pull the "mid" knob as well when using the lead channel.. Thickens it up a bit....
