I'm playing with the idea of letting my RG570 go. This is a flat out awesome guitar, but I'm just not really a trem guy. I bought the guitar because the neck on this is FANTASTIC...but considering I already have two Prestige RGA's and another trem equipped RG, I'm thinking about letting this one go to help fund my ESP Horizon NT-II GAS. The body has some wear, and there has been a repair to the headstock where it cracked. Normally I NEVER would buy a guitar with that kind of damage (even if repaired) but it turns out that my boss who's been doing professional guitar repairs for 28 years did the repair...and knowing that I know that the neck is actually stronger than it was when it left the factory. At the moment it's set up with an EMG 85/81 combo with a 3-way switch that bypasses the center single coil. I do however have the original pickups and can return it to stock if the buyer would like. It comes with the original hardshell case.
All in all I can honestly say that its one of the best playing Ibanez's I've gotten my hands on, and I like the original Edge trem infinitely more than the Edge Pro that was on my Prestige RG2550E.
I'm thinking $450 with the EMG's, $400 stock. I'm a guitar tech and have owned and player a lot of guitars, and this one just has it. I may end up keeping it, or may sell it to the other guitarist in my band...but I thought I'd do some fishing around to see if anyone here was interested.
