There was a used one at a Guitar Center. My curiosity got the best of me, so I had to play on it, as I have never played through a Mk I that I can recall. To my ears, it sounded very similar to my MK IIb. Now I'm curious to play through a real Mk I with a 5-band EQ, I wish they would've included that option on the reissue...Although it was a cool amp, I thought the price may have been a little steep for it, they were asking $999....
The same store also had a used half open back 4-12 also. Maybe I'll return there with my MK III head & try it out, I think it would make a nice addition to my "family"...
