I can buy a modded triaxis. good?

Hi,

I was offerd a Triaxis for a normal price 1300 euro.

It has the 2 volume pots removed and replace for 1 volume pot wich controlls both outputs. should I look for another triaxis and dont buy this one or should I buy it???

I'd look for another one. There's no way I would buy someone elses failed experiment, especially for that much money.

Well I bought my triaxis by 600 euros, the european model. I think that 1300 is a bit expensive. If the mod is well done the pot must be a double pot to keep the stereo, if the owner do a " viva la virgen " mod it is possible that he bridged the two channels doing a mono channel with a single pot and losing the stereo function

I guess I wont do it then... just waiting for someone to sell his amp to me then in good condition and for a better price!
