How to switch on the Express -series amp?

So,

is this a correct way for the 5:50:

1. POWER switch to ON-position (switch up)
2. Wait at least one minute
3. STANDBY switch to ON-position (switch up)

Power off:

1. STANDBY switch to STANDBY-position (switch down)
2. POWER switch off (switch down)

When powering my 5:50 off I always turn off the Standby switch, then wait 30 seconds or so, and then turn off the Power switch.

this has been debated to hell around here. But i just flip off both switches at the same time.

It will only harm the things in your amp that are designed to be replaced anyway, your tubes.
