I like a heavy tone with good bass, I just don't like too much fizz or high end treble in my rhythm tone. That sound you have there is really scooped a lot, I think adding some mid back in or reducing the treble a little will fill it in some, smooth it over a bit. But do what sounds good to you, it is a good metal tone you have there that will let everybody know you play a Recto :) . It's all subjective anyway.
 
Is a sound "scooped" if has few mids? My settings include a lot of mids, I have the pot at 3 o'clock now! Do you think would be better add more mids?
 
Don't over think this, it's all subjective. I guess I needed to be more specific, more lower mids, less higher mids. Think "more grunt".
 
On Sunday I'll do more clips. I'll try to add some mids on crunchy and lead sound. I think the clean is good for what I need!
