How to handle 240 Volts - how to gig in Europe?

I live in Cape Town, SA and use a small transformer with my Triple. I know that there are 240 Volt versions, but assume most US based bands own 120V gear. Do they use generators or transformers or what when they gig overseas? [/b]

Yes, they do unless they rent/use backline here (in Europe)
