I have an effectrode mercury fuzz.Seems ok through the V if a tad bright.I know fender style amps like the twin sound awful with fuzz pedals.Would the cleans on the V be similar to a fender twin. For example with a marshall style amp the fuzz gets compressed pretty early which smooths out the tone, but with a twin being wide open it sounds super buzzy.Just curious what kind of tones people are getting with pedals through the V's clean channels.Mostly fat mode.I had a wampler velvet fuzz a while back it didnt sound too good either.Maybe its the same issue im having with the effectrode pedal.Although it doesnt sound the worst to be fair.Just a bit on the bright side.Cheers

I use a Blackout Effectors Blunderbuss and I love how it sounds going through Ch1/fat.
It can sound bright through the MarkV if I let it. It can sound down right muddy as well,
but I can get it to behave just tweaking the pedal alone and not touching the amp's settings.

I like to tune my fuzz with our bass player and get it to "sit nicely" on top of his sound, so to speak.
When I get home, those same settings, it can sound nothing like what they were with our bass player.

I'm not a huge effects guy, but the amp handles 'em well enough to my liking.
