I got this backing track and had to record some guitars...

Dream Theater Honor Thy Father from Train Of Thought.

My tuning is D, so i had to pitch backing track up...

Acoustic part sucks. There is some kind of melody with poor sound at the backing track.And strange note at the melody

Just like your As i Am clip...... AMAZING! I cant seem to get that crispness out my TA......you just using the standard mesa valves?

Yes I use original Triaxis(mesa tubes)and 2:90 with mesa 6l6 tubes. Nothing special...
(of course Triaxis is something special, so great preamp :!: )

Eq from g-force makes huge difference. this way you know what parameters you like to boost and cut

And don´t forget mics, Shure 57/ Sennheiser MD 421-II
