Ok so I want to buy a little track machine with cd burning capabilities, at least 4 simlutanious track recording, and phantom power. I am looking to spend nothing over 700 bucks or so. Any ideas?

what are you guys using?

Try Audacity. It is free. Just plug in a inexpensive mic in your sound card and record on the Audacity program. It even has a click track built in.
Nice for capturing ideas.

LoL wel between that post and this i picked up a KORG (i know i know) D888 8 track digital studio thingy, and an AKG cond. mic.

Sounds good so far with acoustic stuff. Tommorw when the wife leaves for woork I will mike up my LSC see how it turns out.

This thing has a USB interface, so then I can just drag the wave files over.

Gonna take weeks to figure this all out tho.

:?
