I am borrowing a 100w Nomad head to compare with my Nomad 55 and I noticed that when I put the reverb on 7- 10 on the clean channel and hit the strings hard, I get a very high pitch feedback. Does anybody know how to fix this? I was thinking about trading my Nomad 55 for this amp but I won't do it if it's something hard to fix...

Sounds like a microphonic tube, I'm not too familiar with the preamp layout of the nomad but I imagine it's the V4 preamp tube that needs replacing.

edit: it's not tube controlled according to the manual but it still sounds like a microphonic preamp tube.

That was easy...

**** you're good Platypus....
