Here's a tip for brightening your Ace's clean channel...

This may seem so simple that it's common knowledge, but I stumbled across it just now and thought i'd share. If you think the clean channel of your Stiletto is too dark try running CH1 in crunch mode with gain at about 9:30. It will let you EQ the 'clean' channel much like CH2 (treble and presence low). Holler back if i just helped anyone...

Thats exactly how mine is set up.Here's a clip with these settings.Thats the best clean I can get out of it.I used one of the new MIM Jazzmasters,and the reverb added post recording.

I tried this and it does brighten up the cleans a lot. Also makes the channel a bit louder too without breakup.
