I have a Studio .22 from the early 90's. When you crank the the left rear screw (This is one of the screws that holds the chassis in the cabinet) on the top of the amp all the way down, it makes this horrible static sound. I'm confident that I can fix it. But, has anyone seen this before?

Well, yes. I agree that it's a grounding problem. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this specific problem. Honestly, I just think it's funny.

Funny, yes...but it could also be dangerous if you have current being sent thru that screw....I haven't had that specific problem before...could make for a neat party trick....
