Help!!!! Lead Channel Gain Pot

The issue that presented itself the other day to me while gigging happened on the Lead Channel of my Mark IV, Specifically the Lead Gain Pot when you either pull it out push it in or sometimes turn it. What happens is it sounds like you actually lose a gain stage or that you are on r2 insted of lead channel, this happened when I went adjust the lead gain, really weird, only way I can explain. you have to wiggle the pot alot to get it to kick back in, any ideas?? any one ever have this problem ??? is it just the pot needs replacing???? My Mark IV is from 1990,, any help would be appreciated before i go and order a pot from Boogie

Ask around if this is ok, but maybe try "deoxit" spray electronics cleaner. maybe some dust in there.
