Heartbreaker vs MK1

I know the Heartbreaker was designed as a tribute to the original MK1,(love channel), but unfortunately I have never played a MK1. So, are there any folks on the board, who own both or have had the chance to play both, that could give me some info on how close does the Heartbreaker compare to a MK1, or is it a tone inspired by the MK1 but individual to the Heartbreaker.
