The IIC+ mode seems a little thin, especially when your switching from Mark I. The manual seems to suggest that a larger output cap would allow for more sub-lows. Has anyone tried this? Surely someone has... If so, how did it sound? Are there any alternatives, some way to get IIC+ mode a little thicker?

Ive been wondering about this too. I guess a ghetto fix would be to throw an EQ in the loop and boost the low end. But for now i tend to just go to mark iv mode or extreem if i want a thicker rhythm sound.

The manual and many users here seem to suggest going into Mark IV mode to get those lower registers. Plus, IV mode utilizes the larger cap.

I use Mark IIC+ mode in triode and seems to add a little extra low in there.
