Hardest walkaway of my life...

I found an old Single Rectifier (R50-00133) yesterday for $899. Best sounding single I've ever found. Pretty sure I could have talked them to a flat $800. Did on my DSL 50 anyway. Man was that hard to walk away from! I had literally just paid of some guitar purchases hours before walking in.

I did call my little brother and they are holding it for him to check out. He's on again off again as far as buying tube stuff so we'll see.

Anyone else had a tough walk away...The saga is not over. If my little brother get's it it's in the family so to speak. If it's there next week, it might be providence...who knows. Watch my sig!

I know exactly what you mean.

There's a little store in Albuquerque that has an original Krank that I seem to remember was built out of a Bassman.

They also have a Soldano Reverb-O-Sonic that has been there forever.

I really wanted both of them, but the Soldano is the white boa snakeskin. I hate that Sambora ****.
