Hello all,

I'm selling my MkIIC+ to finance some new gear. I've enjoyed playing this amp, but I'm buying some custom built stuff so it's up for sale. All reasonable offers will be considered. On the block is a MkIIC+ head and matching extension 1x12, an EVM12L and combo shell. You can check it out here:

I talked to a friend who sells classic cars, and he had what I thought was some pretty good advice: List it asking for reasonable offers and anyone who knows C+'s and was really interested would make me a fair offer. Obviously that works better for classic cars... :?

I bought this amp during the price bubble a couple of years back - you know, when heads were selling for $3500. I now have about $2600 (re-cap, tubes, combo shell, C90) into and really don't want to take a bath.

To be honest I've struggled with this amp; some days I love it, and other days I'm sure it belongs with someone else. Unfortunately, just as I bought the new amp (promising the wife that I'd sell this one) I fell back in love with the C+!!! I remember looking hard and long for a nice C+; now that it's on the block I've got cold feet about selling it (right on the money av8or3 ). I don't need the cash, but I promised my wife that I'd fund the new amp with this one, and now I'm flopping about like a fish. Quite embarrassing really.

At the risk of looking like an idiot with my Boogie Board friends as well as my wife, it looks like I may have sealed the deal with the mrs. to hang on to it at least until I get the new amp and have some time to work with the new amp (hence the sale pending). Sorry to irritate fellow members of the board here; no ill will intended. For now I'm going to do nothing except feel silly.
