New to the board. I have a roadster with 4x12 rect. cab.

I'm playing 2 guitars, a schecter c1+ and a gibson LP studio. It's fairly easy to dial in a nice tone with my schecter but when I'm playing with the gibson for ch 2 and 3, it kinda sounds like garbage. cleans are great with some nice sparkly highs or warm full mids.

I'm thinking of dropping some seymore duncan blackouts in it as these are typically very good for rock. anyone know if these partner well with the LP and roadster? also, may just sell it and buy the schecter atx or something else.

any tips/hints on how do make this guy sound great would be appreciated

I used to have a LP Standard until 1 year ago...didn´t like the crunch/od/dist sound/tone of the stock pups either and replaced them with DiMarzio Evolutions (DP159 Bridge, DP158 Neck). Damn, that baby came alive and kicking!
Funny thing I found out well after I swapped the DiMarzios in is that Alex Skolnick also uses the Evolutions in his LP...and he has a killer tone for sure!

Just my 2 €-cents

Hey, thanks i'll check those out. I also mis-spoke when I said ch. 2 and 3. I meant 3 and 4

Also, check out the Dimarzio D-Activators if you get a chance. On numerous occasions, I've heard them through a Roadster. It's wicked killer tone.
