I bought it just for the EV, but the cab might sound pretty good as well. It would be a home/jam session cab if it sounds any good. It is worth it for the speaker alone like you said...

Only thing that sucks is that the seller only accepts money order/cashier's check and she wants a tracking # for it! ?? How do you send a money order with tracking info? UPS or Fedex? That is expensive to ship a freakin' money order...

Well it turns out the speaker is a EV 12S, not a 12L. It is a small cone and is supposed to be more midrangy... Not what I am looking for. He let me know that some others were inquiring about the model and gave me the opportunity to get out of the sale without any negative feedback. I'll just keep looking!
