So if I'm understanding the set up correctly you run the guitar into the TC, TC send to each amp input and loop send into the TC loop return for each channel, and then a stereo out to each amp return?

Sound like the TC is an amp switcher and the Boogie FS's control the amps beyond that.

For someone trying to run two heads does the TC G seem to be a better option than most?

Hi Elvis,

Just out of interest what amp stand are you using to put your 1x12 and mark v 25 head on? I'm looking for one to help hear my cab when playing gigs.

Cheers

Me too. I don't like the angle. You can put the head on the floor.

I actually prefer the angle. I can hear it better. I had a gig over the weekend and even though I was going thru the pa I could'nt hear the cab that well behind me. I think cause it was to low to the floor. I'll keep my eye out for one. Quiklok do one I think I'll check it out.

Cheers

Paul

Gotcha. That's what I thought. I found this one it holds both cab and head. Its a bit pricey but then again if you've got a boogie that is on the expensive side the I suppose I need to look after my investment.

Looks cool, though I wonder how the mini heads will sit on that stand. They're awfully small. I guess you could put a piece of wood or metal on it to make a shelf.

That was my first thought. I've ordered one anyway I'll see how I get on and email you over some pics when I get a chance. It should help me to hear the cab better. Other than that its another cab to buy and have them both on at the same time awesome!

Gigged my Mark V:25 again. This was a big venue with a HUGE stage. The V:25 was plenty loud enough (even clean channel) for stage volume, and they mic'd it for FOH.

At a stage volume appropriate for this stage, the Mark ROARED. It was so much fun. Very audible (I spent quite a lot of time over the last few weeks dialing out the mud and tightening it up for a great mix with our bass and vocals). I mostly stayed off my dirt pedals. It just sounded and felt fantastic and sustained like crazy.

I ran in Fat and Mark IV modes. The cleans were strummable but with a tiny bit of breakup, so they sounded lively, and I ran gain in Mark IV mode at about 9:30, with the master about 10:30. Clean master was almost off. That channel is loud.

We are a 4-piece, so it's just bass, one guitar and drums in the rhythm section. I recently added a doubler effect and that came off really nicely. +6 cents with 18ms delay and -6 cents with 32ms delay I think, down about 2dB. Really adds some sparkle and richness, not that the Mark IV mode needs much of that.

We opened for another band. Their guitarist had a Marshall with two 4x12 cabs and a giant rack rig. Poor guy. I dropped my Mini Mark on top of a 1x12 widebody ported and sounded HUGE.

I can imagine lots of guys with big rigs doing a double take when they hear a V25! Like "what the..." LOL
I always do when I switch to Xtreme mode. Little fu!@er is LOUD.
