I am about 99.9% sure that the Mark IV is what I want to get to compliment my LSS. Mostly I use a Am Deluxe Strat and Am Tele with the LSS.

I have a stock LP Custom and an ES-369 (Essentially a 335 with hotter "Dirty Fingers" humbuckers which have a coil tap switch.)

I was just wondering how these two might do with the Mark IV.

THey sound great. im using my LP custom with it and it sounds really smooth. however my only problem with it is that gibson doesnt shield their pickups that well, so as long as you shield them you'll be good to go.

good luck

I love my R8 LP and Mark IV together... the mark REALLY opens up with a nice big slab of wood behind it.

I wouldn't use the Lead mode with the 335 if you're dialing in lots of gain..

I just found out yesterday that they just started gluing up the neck and body. Probably be another month or so. It was good to finally hear something about it after all this time.
