I got a 78 Ibanez les paul as well. I had like 4 or 5 of 'em and kept the best one. I must say these Ibanez Lp's are great, but this Fenix is a level higher IMO.

A bandmate of mine had an Aria ProII back around the same time..1978. GREAT guitar!!! It was a dead ringer for a LP Standard. Played wonderfully too! I've looked for one for years, but the only ones I find are all just trashed, sadly. I guess no one really takes care of these for some reason...too bad.

They are made by Scala Guitars and the model is Dorian (as in Ionian, Dorian, Lydian...).

They look very nice but are not LP copies like the Fenix is :)

True. I guess they are 'inspired' by LP design. Both top and back sides are arched and some controls are moved around or eliminated altogether.

I have an early 70's pre lawsuit Ibanez LP Custom copy and it feels nothing like a Les Paul. Great guitar but nothing like an actual Les Paul.

Looks like there is a typo on that spec sheet for the Fenix LP copy....neither of those guitars have the "24 frets" that the sheet says they have

Sweet looking guitars though!
