Is it quiet and won't degrade your tone ???
I don't like hissy, hummy gear that ruins your tone. Defeats the purpose of buying expensive guitars, amps & effects
Did you have any other problems with it ???

As no-one replied I'll answer my own question for the benefit of members. I bought the Gator Pedal Tote plus the G-Bus-8 power brick. This is an excellent and cheap system for up to 6 pedals. It's

1) compact, secure and comes with excellent carry bag.
2) power brick has 8x9v and 3x18v jacks = 1700ma total
3) the power brick bolts underneath the pedal board so it's out of the way and there's a slot in the board to get cables neatly organised.
4) the power brick is silent and works efficiently.

At around $US150 total this system is cheap & convenient

I bought the Pedal Tote Pro board without the power brick and that bost me $120AU. Would you know how much the power brick is by itself?

Not sure on price alone. I got the Pedal Tote & the power brick from Billy Hyde Music at Camperdown (Sydney) recently for $A200.
