Hey there,
While I was tweaking my clean tone the other night I realized that the gain control on CH1 would do a brief scratchy noise as it passes 12:00. It is perfectly smooth and silent before and past noon. I called MESA and they pointed out it could be a tube issue in either V1 V2 or V3. I swapped em around but the 12:00 scratchiness is still there. Im about to open up the amp to apply some cleaner to the pot but before I do so I want to know if you guys ever experienced something similar on the MKV. Is there something I may try ou before openning the amp?
