g minor problem

hey guys just got my g major and g minor today just like to say the g major sounds awesome! this is to the people with the g minor when i plug the thing in the led light up then go away is this normal or is there some way to turn it on? thanks for any help!!

Do you have the right adapter for the G-Minor?

Is the switch in the middle (off) position, or is it up or down (Control Change or Program Change modes)?

sorry i wasted your time it didnt say anything in the manual about the switch going up or down so i didnt want to push down on! but thanks for letting me know this thanks!
