Would you buy a new one or save $100 and get a used one?
Seems like free shipping and a 30 day return policy is almost worth $100. Plus the warranty.

Unless its a guitar or Amp that I have been checking out in a store, or a unit that a saleman has let me demo all my licks through, on his time, I would seek the most budget friendly option. Boss GTs are built like tanks, as are TC units- so, for me, I would do the "wallet/family" friendly thing...if you go auction, just be aware of the sellers feedback and return options...

Agree 100%. I always buy used when possible because I can be fickle with my gear and I don't like losing money when I go to sell stuff...

The GTs are great pieces of gear. I had mine for over a year! It just came down to the fact that I have a 3 channel amp now, and really only used delay on the GT. It made more sense to just get a Nova Delay and a volume pedal to replace the GT-8 and use the Mark V's footswitch for everything else. If the Mark V was a 2 channel amp I'd prob still have the GT.

I cant say anything that no one else already has in this thread, but the GT is a great bang for the buck and is easy to set up
