Hi All,

I've just ordered myself a Furman PL-8E Series II Power Conditioner to protect all my nice new toys, including my LSS. The "E" in the model number is to denote it's for the European market - I live in the UK.

I have the following to connect to it:

Amp:
-Mesa Boogie Lone Star Special

Rack Gear:
-Sennheiser G2 Wireless Receiver
-Korg DTR-2000 Tuner

Effects on Pedalboard:
-Keeley Mello Crybaby Wah (in-line)
-Keeley BD-2 (in-line)
-Keeley Compressor (in-line)
-Custom OD (in-line)
-Line 6 MM4 (FX Loop)
-Line 6 DL4 (FX Loop)

I read on the Furman site that one bank of 5 is for digital units and the other is for analogue units. This leaves me a little confused as, for example, my DL4 is a digital modelling delay pedal, but it's in my analogue signal path, so which side should I plug it into? I'm assuming that my wireless unit and tuner are digital equipment and that the other effects are analogue equipment, but am not 100 per cent sure. I've also ordered a Pedalsnake to connect the whole lot together so I'm not tripping over wires. The plan is to use my Diago power supply to power all the effects using a P-Line run down the PedalSnake. If it's recommended that I separate the DL-4 & MM-4 from the other effects then I'll get another Diago unit and run it down a spare line in the Pedalsnake.

On another note, ideally I would like all my stage gear to be supplied from the Furman. I play keyboards as well and would like to run my keyboard rig from it as well. This comprises 2 x keyboards, 1 x amp, 1 x powered DI box. Is this practical, or am I better off leaving it just for the guitar rig?

If someone could help me out it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Fox
