I have a Mark IV combo with a C90 that I want to convert to a rack unit. I don't want the shell and the speaker to go to waste (i.e. sitting around in my house), so I want to trade it for a rackmount kit + some cash. Here's a picture of the amp (ignore the cab):

I can take more pictures if necessary. Thanks!

I would keep the combo shell and just buy the rackmount kit. You can get them new from Mesa for $129 + shipping. That includes the fan.

Yeah, but what would I do with a combo shell and speaker? Assuming I rackmounted the amp, if I were to run it thru my extra cab and the C90 in the combo shell, I'm guessing the added "openness" of the combo shell would make it sound kind of tinny and harsh. Thoughts?
