Looks nice.

BTW, I hae a TL as well and I can just get a 4x12 in the trunk. At least "one" fits. I wish I lived closer to you. I would love to have that cab.

IMHO you'll have better success by parting it out...and you may get more for it that way.

My Suggestion: Since those Black Shadows 150 watters are no longer available.......

Speakers: $100 - $150 x 4 = $400 - $600
Cab: $150 - $200

So, parted out you may get anywhere from $550 to $800

If you'd be willing to ship I'd be willing to buy, Loaded or unloaded. :D

If you decide to part it out, I am interested in all of the speakers.

this is a possibility. never shipped speakers before, however...

Its not hard to do, but you have to make sure they are protected from shock. Since shock can move a voice coil (ie: dropping a speaker  ) When I bought speakers from Avitar, they were double boxed. IF interested, let me know 8)

yeah that's interesting. well I wonder how hard it would be to take them all out and install one of them into the Mark IV combo I have, replacing the current C90?

That should be a cinch......

My recommendation is the way to go. i remember a few years back I had a thiele cab (EV Loaded) for $300...and no one would buy it...ran the auction twice w/no success. Then I noticed alot of EV speakers were selling for around $200+ (this was before the reissues)...

So I sold the EV alone for $225, and the cab unloaded for $200....So I got $425 for the cab parted out vice the $300 I wanted for it loaded. YMMV :D

If you ship speakers in pairs bolt them together face to face.

Then bubble warp (3/4-1" bubble wrap) the two speakers. Make it bubble wrap basketball. This protects the cones
Box them surrounded by foam peanuts. and use heavy duty cardboard and and extra picee on the top and bottom.

This method works well. I have shipped a few this way and recieved some this way too.

I like bolting them together, but you still have to pack them good. I just got 2 EVM 12L's and the guy bolted them together, wrapped them in bubble wrap and put them in a box. When the speakers arrived the bubble wrap have no cushion and the box was worn out in the middle of each side where the speakers rims are located. The speakers work correctly, but one of the vent screens came out  . Even though the speakers were bolted together, one of the bolts was bent during shipping  The mext EVM 12L I bought has a bad cone rub... When I ship speakers, I find a box for each individual speaker. I put the speaker in a plastic garbage bak, to protect them from water, them I put them in a box. Then I find another box that is bigger and fill that box with bubble wrap or thick foam padding. Then place the speaker box inside of it. Peanuts are not good to use since they can shift during shipping. I usually ship speakers in pairs.
