Misfortune (speeding ticket and insurance  ) forces me to sell my Triaxis.
$899 shipped in the Continental U.S.
I honestly don't know if it has the "Phat Mod" apparently it does according
to this:
The TriAxis was introduced to the world in October 1992 and began with
serial
#T0001. That would have been the 1.0 software version. In January 1993 the
version 2.0 software was introduced. That would have been somewhere around
serial #T1700. In 1997 around serial #T5000, all TriAxis were leaving the
factory with the Phat MOD was part of the software. The Phat MOD only
affects
Lead One RED. It simply smoothes out the top-end of the Rectifier Sound
making
it sound more like the actual Rectifier itself.
TriAxis' shipped after June 97 have the new Lead One Red as standard
specification.
So serial #'s below 5200 have the Lead1 Recto mod and above 5200 have the
"Fat Mod".
My Triaxis serial number is: T-8300
So according to the statement above it does. I just bought it because it
sounded fantastic.
I have heard that the new ones don't have the mod anymore, but I'm not sure
what serial
number they stopped at.
As far as the unit, it's in pretty good shape with no bent ears, but some
normal rack scratches.
he worst thing is a small indentation on one of the thin plastic number
windows on the front.
It doesn't affect anything, just cosmetic.
The tubes are stock the Mesa 12AX7's.
I have an excellent Ebay feedback rating (Ebay user Lurchhammer) and I prefer Paypal.
You can email me at [email protected]
Thanks,
Paul.
