This is truly a sharp pain to my heart. Ive decided to keep the MK IV, so one of my amps have to go. The .50 cal is what I believe, the most underrated amp in Mesa's aresenal. This is the single most aggressive amp I have ever played. Its in immaculate condition, recently retubed. The only problem it has is the same issue that effects most of the .50 cals from this period - the loop has to be used. That is, if you arent running anything through the loop, you have to bridge it with a patch cable. I dont run any effects with it, so I run a patch cable and bridge the send/return (one end of the patch cable to the send, the other to the return). Other than that, the amp is amazing. Ill have pics up a bit later. Selling for 485+30 for shipping.

Why do you have to bridge the send and receive in the FX loop, what does this do?

dude, clean or replace those jacks and you'll be fine.
i've bought like 3 .50 cal +'s off ebay for next to nothing over the years from people who think they're broken because they don't know what pot cleaner is.

yep, just had to do the old 1/4" cable with cleaner in and out, in and out trick to my .50cal+... That's a great price BTW! Man, if I wasn't buying a pistol I'd snatch that thing up!

Sold.

That was one tough decision. The MkIV put my other amps on notice, so 1 had to go. I really enjoyed this amp.
