How long ago did you acquire yours ? I realize you can get a lucky good deal for being in the right place, right time. These early DR's do seem to be going up in value ........as predicted.

But it still stands firm without hype that they DO sound better IMHO !

That shell is non original. Maybe it had a bad spill and broke the original shell? Seems a bit steep for a dual recto (regardless of serial). I just bought 2 3 channel rectos for this guy's starting bid.

Geez, maybe we need to shut up or be more quiet about the tone monsters of the early DR's.
We may have been a little overzealous and in our excitement to share the findings of the holy grail tone, let the cat out of the proverbial bag. :roll: :lol:

Two months ago I had a shot at #822 same thing chrome/black face w/ a set of extra El-34's for 1150. I think this board drives the prices a little. It ended up being traded for a new Single rec :shock:

I ended up with a Rev G w/ 4x12 cab for just under that price so I'm happy.

I have no doubt it could go for that price.
