I'm still waiting for that half back auction that says "local pick up only in Maryland!!" haha  But I did just pick up another orange 4x12 cab for $500, and I am really liking the way that the orange full stack is sounding. However, I still really want to hear what these halfbacks are all about!

 Yeah man, Local pickup in NC, too !

Orange cabs are damn nice sounding, very cool.

You'll really like the tone and vibe of a halfback, fits the older DR's clank, chime, chug and thunk really well.

How do you think the orange 4x12's compare to the halfbacks? My top 4x12 is loaded with the 75wCelestions, and the bottom is loaded with the V30's. The 2 types seem to compliment one another. I definately like the sound of the 2 cabinets together vs either cab seperate.

Yeah man, he sold it quick... I scour my neck o' the woods DAILY it seems, I believe I have slight OCD.

Same concept but Mesa started it as they came up with several "new" ways of chasing tone !

Putting speakers of different color and freq response ONLY makes sense for better sound.
The rest is just physics I guess, I really like the design of the open top/closed bottom rather than ported, very smart !

Hey man, check out this little review with pics. They're EV's man, can't go wrong with these.

I've never personally heard them that I know of but they seem pretty powerful, cool.
