In the 1990s a I bought a new Simul-395 at K&K Music in San Jose and then about a month later decided to roll the power tubes. I've had original STR-420s I pulled from the amp packed in bubble-wrap in a box for about 16 years. They have been used a total of about 1 month. I'm cleaning house and have decided to sell 6 of the original 8 tubes (keeping 2 for spares in another amp).
Also for sale is my complete set of NOS tubes from my Mesa Blue Angel. These have about 3 months of home-studio use on them and were all purchased matched for the amp. I recently sold the amp with the original Mesa tubes installed.
Finally I have a set of GT EL-84s I bought to try out in my Maverick to see if the noise issues were the Mesa tubes. Turns out the Mav is just a noisy amp. These have been used a month at home only.
