I was just checking out the Gibby guitar of the week and stumbled upon week # 47.

Can you say Justice era Hetfield explorer? Hell even the EMGs are a 60 and an 81!

Well I know the guitar of th week are a limited run (this one is for 400 pcs.) So I would imagine the price tag would be a little unrealistic. I think the best bet would be to periodically check ebay,gbase,craigslist for a '84 white explorer.

But then again if the price was right... LOL

yeah, since it is a ltd run of 400, i figured that you could probably take the price of an explorer.....$1150.00 usd (1976 model) and multiply it by like 5.....

I dont think it will be overly expensive. I absolutely loathe EMG pickups so that will keep me away from that instrument.

justice era was esp. garage days re-revisited was gibson. btw i had an 84 great guitar but the neck was the 50`s profile aka baseballbat. my 76 reissues (had 4) had way better 60`s necks

hmmm that's interesting...thanks for that tid bit of info man. I think I'd almost rather have a "Rusty" copy than this guitar. I really like the flat black and anodized copper pickguard (even though i think explorers without pickguards look that best) but then again, white explorers are so metal haha :twisted:
