Footswitch cable single rec

Hi,

I need a replacement footswitch cable for a mesa single recitifier. I know I need a 5 pin DIN cable (Male-Male). Does anyone know if any 5 pin din cable will do?

Its difficult to get the official cable here in the UK, but its easy to get a generic one.

I'm also curious about this. Can any 5-Pin DIN cable be used for the Single Rec's/Rectoverb's Footswitch?
