First Shipments of Heads Complete?

Anyone know if the first shipments of the heads are completed or are more still to come/in transit, etc?

I was told there were 200 heads shipped. With the different shipping timetables between stores I don't see how all of them were shipped. I would guess that the next two weeks should see the rest of them at their destination.

I ordered mine in January, just off the phone with my dealer and he doesn't have any news for me. He's calling his rep to find out what's going on.

My dealer pestered his Mesa rep last week and was told they started shipping the first batch of heads last week. He said he was told that mine should be at his store by the end of this week (Friday). BTW, mine was ordered the week before NAMM as well. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

They better not be complete, ordered 1st day of NAMM and still haven't got mine either -- live relatively close as well (Sacramento, CA).

Remember that all dealers have different shipping agreements that they might not tell you about because it wouldn't be Mesa's problem that you don't have your amp yet. Bottom line is that if you do not have your head (and you ordered it first at that dealer) in 1-2 weeks there is something they are not telling you. It is easier to blame Mesa for their own F-up. Or Call Mesa and get the direct info. I just found out that Mesa ships depending on how much stuff is going to that location to save on shipping costs. If the amp is sitting in Petaluma because that store only had one thing being delivered, that might be the problem. You might need to request they ship it now and not wait for other stuff to pile up before being sent. I know my salesguy did this for me. It's worth a shot.

We do have a couple of batches of Mark V Heads and Combos in final assembly at the moment and we have been shipping these amps as they pass final inspection. Based on the number in final assembly, I think it is pretty safe to say that if you placed an order for a Head or Combo prior to April 2009 then your order should be filled from the current group. When exactly is tough to say, although I can tell you amps have been leaving everyday since last week. We are allocating pieces in the order that orders were received (...) it could take another two weeks to finish allocating & shipping from this group.



If your order was later than April, then it might fall in the group that is roughly 4 weeks behind the current amps we’re finishing, so expect them to ship out roughly mid July.



If you are placing a new order or have placed one within the last week or so, my best guess would be that it’ll be about 8 weeks before those Mark Vs are ready to ship.

Everything I've heard agrees with the above. I was supposed to be on the first run that was completed, but my dealer had a bunch of Mesa gear coming in another 1.5 weeks or so. So, I got pushed back to the next batch (amp going out around June 15-16) so it can ship with all the other Boogie gear they have coming.

I am seriously Gassin' for my MarkV head and Quad now. I have my new pickups, MXR delay and Ernie Ball volume pedal.

Just give me my MarkV, goddammit!

Ordered the head on Jan.20. My dealer just spoke to Mesa
and they said head is shipping out today (6/9) and should
be here (New Haven, CT) by middle of next week.

Talked to the dealer I'm getting my MKV head through and he said it should be here by this friday (6/12). FYI: I'm here in Colorado, and I believe the amp was ordered shortly after NAMM.. not sure though, the dealer had already placed the order for it before I put any money down.
