Sure, you'd save $200.

But is the gas money, travel time, warranty issues worth it?

You're absolutely right. I did call CBSA and they said that as long as it's personal use and the product says explicitly on the box or product "made in ...". However, I also work for the federal government (all that stuff in the papers about nannies, that's me) and I know that all it takes is one pissed off border guy to ruin your life. We have cases all the time of people held up at the border who shouldn't be i.e. are exempt of needing work permits and the border still sticks it to them. Plus gas, time not a worry, but the warranty is a huge thing for me; especially for a first run amp. I'll just take the hit. Unless of course our dollar gets to par.

Awesome! Congrats.

Did you get it at Long & McQuade? And how many much clams does it costs for us canadians?

Perfect timing with our long weekend!

I see you're from NB, I'm up in Miramichi. I called Moncton about it and I guess they have a combo on order, the guy didn't know when for sure it would be in. He told me the price to and I can't think of it now... It was a little over 2500 though.

Hey small world my friend. That's pretty cool. I'm actually in Moncton. I don't think I"ll be buying a Mark V any time soon unless I really get a chance to try one out. I'm guessing it'll be a little while before they have one on the floor to try out. We'll see. I've only had the dual rectifier (3ch;used) for two months.
