Hey folx. What's your favorite of 2009? I'm not going very high brow here ... Slayer: World Painted Blood for me. I'd classify this as not as not as good as Reign in Blood but better than South of Heaven. It absolutely rules. The riffs rule.

Psychopathy Red is totally killer:

You?

My second favorite album, even if I haven't heard it yet: Wolfmother / Cosmic Egg.

My biggest finds of 2009: Toxic Holocaust, Gama Bomb, and The Sword.

Dream Theater - Black Clouds and Silver Linings
Redemption - Snowfall on Judgement Day

Biggest disappointment: Adam Lambert - For Your Entertainment

For one of the best singers in the mainstream right now, that album is a big steaming pile of crap

1. Dream Theater - Black Clouds & Silver Linings
2. Rammstein - Liebe Ist Fur Alle
3. Slayer - World Painted Blood

Come to think of it....those are the only albums I bought this year.

3. Mastodon - Crack the Skye
4. Lamb of God - Wrath
5. Giant Squid - The Icthyologist

I gotta go with Kreator's "Hordes Of Chaos" even though the music video is a bit corny :D

Wow, let me crawl out from underneath that rock I've been hiding under. Kreator has a new album this year? I'm so there, dude. Thanks!

Edit: From Wikipedia: "The album debuted at number 165 on The Billboard 200 chart in the US, with first week sales of approximately 2,800 copies.[4]" Wow record sales aren't what they used to be. I wonder how many "copies" are actually out there? I wonder what percentage of legal copies to total copies there is out there (not Kreator but all bands).
