Famous (or known) Mark III Users.

Well I'm sure as hell not famous, but I do have a couple vids of me playing my Mark III with my band. I'm on the left and have a TS808 as a clean boost up front and an MXR Carbon Copy in the loop. Using my halfback cab with EVM-12L's. Guitarist on the right is using a 5150.

How about *current* famous users? Failing that, can anyone post a link to a video of someone using a mark III up loud on stage? Youtube has a bunch of vids but i couldn't really find any live stuff w/the mark III.

150 watts is insane….my 96 Diezel VH4 Blueface which I had custom made for in 96 also has 150 w….I only use it in my studio…..via a cab clone…..it used to be my touring amp back in day and really moved the earth…..

Luke did indeed tour with a pair of IIC+ Coliseum heads- which recently sold.

And just like Lukather, Mike Landau also used Mark IIC+ Coliseum head(s). I own a IIC+ KDRG Simul-class Coliseum head that once was owned by Landau.

If I remember correctly, Stryper used MK3s as n the Soldiers Under Command tour.

^^^ yes,Stryper indeed went thru a ton of boogie gear over the years.Not sure if they were using mk iiis yet by soldiers,they were using Marshall's with eqs around yellow and black,which was right before soldiers,circa 85' and later the quads and 400s came in around or after to hell with the devil.Ive seen every tour but soldiers,had lunch with them a few times back in the day.Super nice guys, and always killer tone.This article is from my boogie bulletin news 88/89'
