My rig

The mic placement in my wardrobe closet

Soundclips:
Clean
Strumming and arpeggiating
Overdrive
Shredding with wah and delay

Signal Path: Gibson SG -> Line6 Pod Xt Live -> Mesa F-30 -> Behringer SM58 clone -> Behringer mixer (flat) -> soundcard

Pod XT Live is used for effects (some eq all the time, the wah and delay)

Clips are normalized, but not processed in other ways.

Nice demo on that amp.

I tried one recently and have to say I was pretty impressed with it.

New clips

Clean
Drive

This time it was Gibson SG -> Mesa F-30 -> effect send -> POD XT Live (cab and mic sims) -> computer

This makes a cool recording setup. I can mute the F-30 speaker and record direct with headphone volume.

One more set of clips though no one is commenting :D

Clean channel:
Clean
Lead channel:
Drive
Noodling
Lead with contour:
Crunch
Lead

I had two mics set up: A Behringer SM58 clone right at the speaker (left channel) and a T-Bone condenser mic 2 feet away (right channel).

I dig the clips man. I had no luck getting my XTlive to sound the way I wanted so i brought it back and got a G-Major.

How come you recorded the last clips only on the left channel?

I usually listen to clips through my headphones at night as to not disturb my wife and I noticed that you last bunch of clips only came through the left channel. The right channel didn't come through on my headphones.

Nice clips. I like your playing. Nice chord voicings.

You have pretty much solidified my resolve to pick up one of these little monsters. I have mkIV which is my main rig but I'd like to get the f30 for a grab and go jam amp.
Thanks.
