Evm 12L Differences

So I'm Looking to Get some EVM's For my Halfback 4X12 and there are a lot of different Versions of the 12L. I'm just wondering if there are any SIGNIFICANT differences to be had with them or if its just basically the same speaker changing looks over time. I know the Zakk Wylde one is 300 watts but i wouldnt touch Zakk Wylde stuff with a ten foot pole. mainly just interested in any of the normal EV's. Any feedback Would be Appreciated.

i haven't compared different EV's but i've got a couple of the new EV Classics & from what i remember of the original EV 12L's, the Classics sound very similar.

what about the "series2" 12l's are these the same as the old ones because i see variations of these on ebay the most often.
