Ernie Ball passive volume pedal

I love the way the ED drive channels interact with the volume knob on my strat.

However, I suck with the volume knob playing live.

I'm thinking of picking up this volume pedal

Will this provide the same effect as the volume knob on a guitar?

Yep it will. I've got the same thing on my pedalboard. Works great!
