Im experiencing an issue with my Electra dyne where if I have the master set anywhere below 10 or 11:00, the volume will randomly drop and remain dropped until I spike the master knob up pretty high. Anyone know what could be causing this? The seller I bought from says that the Mesa rep he bought the head from, said this is normal. This doesn't sound right to me. Can anyone else confirm if this is true?

Mine does that around 7:30-7:45... Which I'd pretty low on the volume. 10:00 to 11:00 seems pretty extreme to me.

Near the ends of the pot there is a normal "hop off" where the contact can fail. At 10:00 I think you're getting bad contact. I'd try contact cleaner (if you can get it into the pot). It shouldn't do that IMO.
