EL34's or 6L6's for rectoverb?

Gonna order a tube set from Eurotubes for my Rectoverb combo.
Trying to decide between the 34's and 6L6's.
Whats the generally prefered amoung users?

I like stock mesa 6l6 with bias switch set to el34. or el34 tubes. I cant really decide they both sound great. get both :lol:

I got my hands on a set of Mesa EL34's to try. Just what I was looking for!!
Nice chirp/grind in the mids and bottom end is not as bloated. Great tone!
A nice middle ground between the Stilleto and the Recto. I demoed them both side by side. I really like the Stilleto but I like the larger spread of the recto it can sound huge!
With the EL34's I think I like it even more. Very verstile having the Bias option.
Just as a side note I onlly use the Raw and Vintage settings.
This amp is great, workmanship is excellent. Mesa knows their sht!
