EL34's in Rectos... What do you like?

I picked up another 3 channel Triple Rectifier not too long ago. It wasn't meshing well with me for the first few weeks. That all changed when I swapped over to EL34's. I had a matched sextet of Ruby EL34B-STR's and decided to give those a spin. The amp sounds great now!

Anyway, I have a pair of SED EL34's I picked up from KCA NOS Tubes not too long ago. I need to contact Mike and get 4 more that are of the same spec's. They're within Mesa's range, so that's a good thing.

Enough about me! What kind of EL34's do you guys like to use? What do you like about them? I'm just curious to see your thoughts.

I love the JJ E34L's in mine. They are a bit darker sounding, but it matches my guitars, pickups and playing style perfectly.

EL-34 =C= or Svetlanas for me.

I liked the JJ EL34s much more than the Mesa's. I still prefer Ruby 6L6GCs in my Recto though.

I use 1960s Mullard EL34s. They're commonly regarded as the gold standard of EL34s, to which I certainly concur.
