Does anyone know if the effects loop on the MKV is fused? As soon as I plug a cable into the loop I lose all audio? If I turn the loop off OR unplug the cable audio comes back. If it is fused how do I get to it? Anyone know how to remove the amp from its shell?

Thanks,

Steve

there is a level pot on the back make sure you have that turned up at least a little. Can you put a single cable in the loop from send back to the return, turn the loop on and turn up the pot and see if you get sound?

The effects loop is not fused. So are you sure you are going from the output on your effect to the receive on the mark v or are the connections switched? It's and easy mistake to make.

Thanks. Yes all is connected correctly. Plenty of signal feeding the processor. The processor shows plenty of output too. Must be the V6 tube? I've pulled it out and it looks ok to the eye. I'll replace it tomorrow don't have one handy. Any other thoughts?
